Overall Impression (20 Points)
Overall Impression accounts for up to 20 points and reflects our assessment of the complete experience of using the platform.
This isn’t based on a single feature. Instead, we consider how the different parts of the site work together and whether the platform delivers a polished and worthwhile experience compared with competing cam sites.
Factors we may consider include:
- Overall quality of the platform
- Performer selection and variety
- Streaming experience
- Site design and presentation
- Navigation and ease of use
- Quality and usefulness of available features

When evaluating video quality, we may consider:

We don’t judge this category solely by the percentage of performers labeled as HD.
A large platform with hundreds of good-quality streams may provide considerably more choice than a smaller platform with a technically higher percentage of HD performers but very few models online. We therefore consider both quality and the practical availability of good streams.

Number of Models (15 Points)
This category awards up to 15 points for the size, activity, and variety of the performer community.
Advertised registration numbers aren’t enough on their own. A platform might claim to have a very large number of registered performers, but what matters more to a user is how many suitable performers are actually available when they visit.
We therefore look at factors such as:
- Number of performers available online
- Activity at different times of day
- Variety of performer categories
- International and regional selection
- Availability of niche categories
- How easy it is to find performers matching specific preferences

Value (20 Points)
Value is worth up to 20 points and is one of the most heavily weighted parts of our rating system.
This category isn’t simply about finding the cheapest cam site. Instead, we compare what users receive with what they’re expected to pay.
Depending on the platform’s pricing model, we may consider:

- Approximate private-show costs
- Group-show pricing
- Membership fees where applicable
- Free public viewing
- Free chat and previews

Each platform can receive a maximum of 100 points:

The points awarded in these seven categories are added together to create the site’s overall score out of 100.
The numerical score gives us a consistent way to compare platforms, but it should be read together with the written review. A single number cannot explain every strength, weakness, or difference between two cam sites.
Two platforms can therefore receive similar scores while being suitable for very different users.
How We Test Cam Sites
Our ratings are based on editorial research and hands-on evaluation rather than simply repeating claims from a platform’s homepage.
Whenever practical, we create and use an account so we can see the platform from a member’s perspective.
Our testing can include browsing webcam rooms, checking performer availability, testing search and filters, watching streams, examining pricing, using available account features, checking mobile usability, and comparing the platform with other cam sites we’ve reviewed.

How We Keep Ratings Updated
A review score isn’t necessarily permanent.
